Birthday!

•November 13, 2009 • Leave a Comment

I TURNED 15 ON SATURDAY.

Thanks to those who gave me birthday wishes! :D
Especially to Dawn, De Xin, Jing Min, Shermaine and Doreen! Thanks for the surprise cake!

Doreen, Jing Min, Shermaine and I had planned to go to Sentosa. We met at 9am, but they reached earlier because they got the cake for me! Thanks girls! ;D

Yay so after that we bought our Sentosa tickets and walked around the deserted Vivo. We were the first in line to buy cinema tickets at GV. Heh. Later, we headed to Siloso beach!

No one was able to light up the candles(we used the matchbox) so JM went to ask three guys to help us. Lols. Thanks again! ;) After that, we ate the cake and I think I ate the most as it’s a chocolate cake! Omg I heart chocolate!!

Then, we began to play in the sea! However, I didn’t bring extra *ahem* so I couldn’t get down the water. Howver, somehing cropped up as Shermaine’s having a stomachache so we spent slightly more than 30 minutes in the toilet. She vomitted too. We played frisbee after that but it’s so boring that we went down into the waters again!

Later, we went to Imbiah and had Delifrance for lunch. I spent the least on it. Heh. After much considerations, we finally decided to play the luge. JM was scared tiff but we pulled her in.

We rushed to Vivo and was in time for the movie.

We paid 13 bucks for this movie! The most expensive too! We were unwilling to pay the cashier. Lols. I only like the part when they started to play a game. That’s the most interesting. Other than that, it’s okay.

Doreen said she wanted to sleep but she did not want to waste the $13 so she forced her eyes open. Hahas.

I wanted to post more photos but I think the files are not supported by wordpress so…these are the only photos I managed to put up. Sry.

Camp

•November 12, 2009 • Leave a Comment

I should blog about my birthday on Saturday but I could not upload the pictures here so I’m going to blog about the camp instead.

In short, I don’t enjoy this camp! The toilets are so filthy and the dormitory is filled with sands everywhere. I don’t know why it’s called a dorm as we sleep inside the sleeping bag on the wooden planks. -.- My group is okay…no comments on that…

No phones are allowed there. Even if you have your phone, you will get the Indonesia network. The camp site is just beside the airport, so imagine how we survive. It’s so loud when the planes are landing and taking off, especially at night. There are a total of nine planes on the first night and I think two on the second night. Whenever a plane flew past, I woke up once. =(

First day: The first station was the abseil, and I was so afraid to walk down the walls. Later was rock-climbing. I couldn’t even pass the red line. Urgh I’m so lousy. Our dinner was alright(meaning that it was edible). Then I forgot what we did and we had dried-fruit muffins for supper.

Second day: We woke up slightly earlier than 6am and prepared. After that, everyone gathered at Dorm A but we got a scolding as we were supposed to gather at the flagpole instead. Our exercise/punishment was torturous. The one I remembered was the Buddha Claps. I think we did about 100. There were about 4 groups which have to do more as they were shouted softer than us. They should not deserve that kind of treatment. One of the instructors even scolded Joshua Kiew until he cried. =/ Scary…after that, Sirachut was telling me that the punishment in Thailand was worse as they made the students lie on the sand or something like that. O.o

After breakfast, we did flying fox! OMG I love it! At first, I was terrified but when the trainer pushed me down, I wanted to scream but it was so fun that I laughed instead. -.- LOLS. But the trainer was sarcastic. Then we headed to the high elements. There was one of it which you have to climb up and jump towards a swing, like those act in a circus. The moment I climbed up, I wanted to come down so I jumped down instead of jumping towards the swing. Uh whatever. We had lunch after that.

Then, we made an improvised raft. The shape was weird? But we did it so it’s the effort that counts. Then we had Kayaking!!! I partnered with Jin Wei and we both don’t know how to kayak. -.- Because we didn’t listen to the trainer fully. XD We had difficutly at first as the kayak didn’t want to go to the direction we want, but we managed with the help of the trainer. Then, the first row people had to stand up and hold each other’s hands. Idk why I fell into the water and pulled Jessie down too. =/ But Jessie did split in mid-air. LOLS. I had trouble coming up and wanted to swim to the shore initially but the trainer refused. =( Then, the instructor pushed me up to the Kayak. Heh.

After that, we bathed and discussed about the campfire activity. We modified a bit on the cheer and had our dinner. Lster on, we had camp fire which is another one which I enjoyed. I fell asleep immediately when we returned to the dorms except when the planes flew past that I woke up.

Third day: We did cleaning and headed back to school at 11.30am! We retrieved our phones back and I took a cab home. However, I forgot that I did not bring my keys so I waited outside the house. My dad came back and bought lunch for me too. Then I bathed and used the computer and sleep! :D

I’m done blogging about camp! It took me about one hour to blog and I am also having cramps. My whole body is aching too. :( Done!

Aeya aeya ah aeya aeya.

I’ve prepared the things needed for the camp lest I missed out anything at the last moment. Thanks to my dad who drove me here and there to buy the stuffs. Heh. Yes, camp will be held on Nov 9 to 11 at Changi. I hope it will be fun.

I am disappointed with my results and ranking. =( Oh well, nothing will change the fact. I wish wish wish wish wish wish to get 10 points and below for L1R4. I will extremely work hard to achieve my goal!!!

I’m depressed with many things. Some are too personal and I’m going to write in my diary instead. Some people did not even realise what they are doing and kept on adding salt into the wound. Whatever.

My parents brought me to eat Ishi Mura at Jurong SAFRA after tuition on Saturday! The place is owned by Ajisen, and the food there is excellent. There are a whole lot of varieties and every dish is worth the penny! I hope to eat there again. :)

I lost my way whilst finding my way to the tuition centre yesterday. It was raining and I was walking under the rain. Furthermore, a whole stretch of construction workers were looking at me when I walked passed them. X.X See what see! Never see people walk meh! It was a scary experience and I had to ask people for directions. I even went to the wrong tuition centre. -_- Luckily dad fetched me home after tuition.

We have extended lessons for three weeks so that means that I cannot study full-time at home. Hahas I think people might not believe I’m studying during this looong holiday but trust me, I will. I’m going to study hard and play hard at the same time. :D

I find this video very funny. Hahas she’s going to wear a black bra and meet her future-in-laws?! It’s ridiculous!

So now I’ve learnt a new word- SHINGZ.
Lol.

:D

Busy day! It’s also fun which I will come to it in a while.

Firstly, we performed at Qifa and I screwed it up! The first song was mixed up and I forgot a part for the second song and ended up pretending to play it.

Now is the fun part! We went to visit the Body World at Science Centre today! Initially, I was afraid as the body is real, just that they were plastinated. But when we went in, the body wasn’t that scary as I had imagined, but everything there is real! The liver is so huge and they also showed a lung of a smoker. I also found out that there were many nerves(?) in the brain. The giraffe is so huge; the speaker said that it took 6-7 years to plastinate it! There was one particular exhibit which has a horse and a body riding on it. We spent a lot of time figuring out how many people are sitting on it and wonder why the horse have 2 heads. In the end, we asked Miss Goh and she said that the body was split up into parts and the skull of the horse was separated too.

It’s so fun! JM, Doreen, Shermaine and I were the last few to leave the exhibition. I want to go again, but I think the ticket price for adult is $23!

Then, the four of us took a cab to IMM and ate at Pepper Lunch. I added extra cheese. Mppphh! We shopped around and went home after that. :)

十八厨师

Hahas I thought it will be nice to write 18Chefs in Chinese. ;)

So anyway, JM and I went to 18 Chefs on Friday after school! The food is very delicious, and the student meal is very worth it! You pay $6.40($5.50 if you are going from 3pm-5.30pm) and you get either a plate of pasta or cheeese baked rice with a cup jar of lemon tea and a free scoop of ice-cream! Another fact is that the chef is an ex-offender, but it is good to now that he turned over a new leaf. :)

JM suggested to walk around so there will not be egestion(lol I think my sentence structure is not correct). I bought a cute pen and a bear sushi from More than Words. I’m still young at heart eh. ;) Yep, and we went home after that.

I dislike the weather these few days. It’s so humid and hot even after a cold shower and I keep on sweating even if the fan is blowing at me. But a good point is that I am allowed to sleep with the air-conditioner on. Hehe.

I finished watching a Korean drama called Tamna, the island(Tamnaneun Doda/Tempted again). It’s a drama based on a manga, and the rating is not that high. However, I like Seo Woo’s acting in the show. And not to mention about Im Ju Hwan too. ;) Tamna island is now what we called as Jeju Island.

I am watching One Pound Gospel, which is a Japanese drama recommended by Stacy! It’s a short drama and I was surprised that Yamada Ryosuke is in that drama! Kamenashi Kazuya is the main lead in this drama, and he is a member of KAT-TUN. I love their songs too. ^^

Oh yes, speaking about songs, SHINee and SS501 released a new album!

Members who appeared by sequence: Hyung Jun, Kyu Jong<3, Young Saeng, Jung Min and Hyun Joong.

Enjoy!

I worte a lengthy post on Friday and poof! It was deleted by my itchy fingers. =/

Watched Cloudy with a chance of meatballs in 3D on Thursday with Jing Min, Ling Ling and Shermaine!

Cloudy

It’s a VERY good movie! The ticket costs $10, but it’s all worth it! I want to watch it again!

I found a stall called Dongdaemun and bought tteokbokki! It costs $3, but I think the one in Square 2 is nicer and more spicy. We also ate noodles at a shop which costs only $4.80. So I spent a total of $17.80 that dayand it’s worth it! We should pamper ourselves after two weeks of examinations. :D

Haeundae

I want to watch Haeundae but no one wants to watch it, so I’m going to watch it at tv.fooyoh.com. :)

Yep…

EOY’s over!

But we still have to get back our results next week.
We got back E Math paper 1 yesterday, and I scored badly. =(

English was tough. I redid the essay thrice. The final piece was written in the last 25 minutes. My hand was still shivering when I wrote my name onto the paper. =/

Chinese was okay. Our teacher told us to memorise the thing for 保章报道 and she will give us extra marks but I only remembered the first paragraph. Urgh. Paper 2 was better; at least I completed the whole paper.

E Math was badly done. Paper 1 was returned to us yesterday and answers were gone through in the hall. Paper 2 was worse. I left some of the questions blank. =(

A Math was better than E Math. I am confident that I will pass this paper, but I don’t think I will score high though.

Biology is the worst among others. I did not finish the paper too. The essay section was not completed as well as some of the parts in section B.

Physics and Chemistry were alright. Physics was even more difficult than I had expected. Chemistry was easier; at least it was do-able. =)

History and Social Studies were crap. For History, I mixed up Hitler and Fascist Japan together. =’( So, I decided to study only Northern Ireland for Social Sutdies and I also did not know what to write because I did not memorise a part of it. -_- At least give me a pass please!

Literature! I think I did better than English. I finished the paper and even managed to check the paper which was rare because I always do not have enough time.

Overall, I did badly for all papers. I know I worked hard for all my Science, both Math and Humanities, and maybe that’s not the best yet, but I promised to work hard once I get back all the papers and learn from my mistakes. :)

Failure is the road to success.

SHINee’s Min Ho got hypnotized!

So scary…=/

Chuseok special- Boys on top by SHINee! (Sang by BOA, Girls on Top) Listen to the rap by Min Ho<3 and Key from 1:22 to 1:43.

Min Ho’s “ba ba ba ba” and Jong Hyun’s “why”. ^^

I like BOA’s cheorography in “Eat you up” MV.

Left 6 more papers to go!
